Liability
1. Acknowledgement of Services
I, the undersigned (“Client”), engage The Jonathan Goh Drone Service to provide Drone (unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV) photography/videography services on the agreed date(s) and location(s).2. Assumption of RiskI understand and acknowledge that:Drone operations carry inherent risks, including potential property damage, personal injury, or unforeseen technical malfunctions.
Weather, location restrictions, or local regulatory requirements may limit or affect flight operations.
The drone operator will take reasonable safety precautions, but some risks cannot be eliminated.3. Client Responsibilities
I confirm that:I have/going to obtained any necessary permissions (e.g., landowner approvals) for drone flights at the designated location.
I will not request operations that violate local drone laws or compromise safety.
I will provide reasonable access or resources required for safe drone operations (e.g., access to the site, power supply if needed).
For events with up to 50 people, the Client will display clear signage or notices indicating that drone photography/videography is taking place.
The Client will obtain parental or guardian consent for any individuals under the age of 18 who may appear in photos or videos captured during the drone operation.
All bystanders, participants, and obstacles must be kept outside the designated flight area. This requirement does not apply to authorized crew members involved in the drone operation.
The Client shall provide an adequate number of volunteers or personnel to assist with safety perimeter control and crowd management. Volunteers must comply with instructions from the Pilot in Command (PIC) .
Volunteers and the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) engaged in the drone operation shall not receive any direct or indirect payment, gift, or compensation related to the services from the Client or any third party.This includes cash, “red packets,” vouchers, or any other form of benefit. (This measure ensures compliance with local regulations and avoids potential legal, tax, or employment issues)
All volunteers engaged in the drone operation must complete the training with the Pilot in Command specified in the Unmanned Operations Procedure (UOP) prior to participating.Volunteers who have not completed the required training are not permitted to enter the designated flight area or assist with operations. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all volunteers attend and comply with the training requirements.4. Waiver & Release of Liability
In consideration of receiving drone services, I release and hold harmless Jonathan Goh Drone Service, its operators, and volunteers from any liability, claims, or causes of action arising from the drone operation, including:Injuries to persons (myself, participants, or bystanders)
Damage to property
Delays or inability to operate due to weather, technical issues, or regulatory restrictions5. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and defend Jonathan Goh Drone Service against any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from drone operations requested by me.6. Limitation of LiabilityJonathan Goh Drone Service shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of opportunity, enjoyment, or inconvenience.7. Regulatory Compliance
I acknowledge that all drone operations will comply with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) rules and local regulations. I have had the opportunity to review any required permits or risk assessments provided.
